CUSTOM DESIGN
At Jalin Jewelers, custom design is a personalized, collaborative process where customers work closely with owners, Todd & Tara, to create one-of-a-kind jewelry that reflects unique style and story. Combining advanced technology with expert craftsmanship, each piece is crafted with precision and attention to detail, whether it’s a new design or a redesign of a cherished item.
Custom design customers can expect a seamless 3 step process, to accomplish the goal of a one-of-a-kind creation. The customer is never charged for Todd and Tara’s time, only for the finished product.
STEP 1:
DRAWING AND DESIGN
Begin with a free consultation where Todd listens and guides the ideas you have either based on an existing piece of jewelry to be transformed or an idea for a new piece you have floating around in your head.
He then will transcribe the collected ideas into a computer-aided rendering that he will share with the client. Todd and the client will spend time dissecting the renderings to ensure perfection is met.
STEP 2:
CASTING
The computer-aided rendering is then cast into metal of the customer's choosing. Jalin will cast in 10kt, 14kt, & 18kt yellow, white, & rose gold. As well as platinum.
STEP 3:
SETTING AND POLISHING
Once the project has been cast any necessary stones will be set and the piece will be finished and polished and ready for delivery to the customer.
